This championship is going to be issued a start date but will be held on a Tuesday at 8:30pm GMT time.
A typical race meeting will involve a 15 minute practice session, followed by one 30 minute race.
Most of the races will be able to accommodate in excess of 16 (full lobby) cars.
If there is enough interest then there will be a 20 minute free practice session either the day before the race or prior to qualifying.
Rules:
1 - As in Formula 1, if you gain a place by cutting a corner you must give it back otherwise you will be given a place drop at the end of the race or a stop and go penalty.
2 - A very basic rule, we will have a safety car and when it is called out, no overtaking.
3 - There will be a warm up lap and there will be a standing start, if there is a massive crash in the first 2 laps then there will be a restart.
4 - You are allowed to do burnouts only on the start finish straight, you are not allowed to stop when you do burnouts as it will be classed as a practice start and you will be given a place drop or a stop and go penalty.
5 - There will be contact as this is racing but simulation damage will be on so be careful (contact will affect the cars considerably)
6 - Obviously all replays will be saved so any complaints then the co-organiser and I will look at the replay. If nessesary there will be penalties given to those who we see is in the wrong. The Stewards desicion is final. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Qualifying format:
Qualifying will start at 8:30pm GMT time Prompt, if you miss qualifying then you will be allowed to race but start from the back of the grid.
Qualifying will last 15 minutes. Once this is finished, then drivers will be sorted into there starting positions. This will vary in time due to number of racers, if there is more than 1 lobby then the hosts will go to a private party to sort out drivers positions. Drivers are free to do what they want while the organisers sort out the lobby/lobby's.
Race Format:
Once everybody is in their correct lobby/s we will give everybody a driver briefing, then we will do one warm up lap whih will give everyody the chance to warm their tyres up and the organisers to sort out the grid.
